Burgdorffs in Bolivia

Dear Family and Friends,

Friday, May 11, was a sad day for us as two of our volunteers, Brienna and Daniele, left to go back home. Many of the kids and staff were crying as we said goodbye to them. Arisai took over as “mom” to Brienna’s 8 little boys which has worked pretty well since Arisai was living in that house anyway and the boys were used to her. Daniele’s 12 teenage girls were left without a “mom.” There is a Bolivian lady, Soraida, who is planning to come in July who we plan to put in with the big girls, but in the meantime we didn’t know what to do. My parents were willing to move in with them for the weekend, but by the time we arrived home that Friday evening from town it was too late to get anything set up. We also quickly realized that this job was going to be too much for my parents to handle,

Dear Sister and Brother in Christ,

With every passing day we are closer to heaven, with every passing hour we are closer the hour, when we will see the face of the One who gave His life for us, who waits to see our face, who longs to touch and embrace you… May this Sabbath be a reminder of that hour, and of the moment we will see and touch love personified… our dear Father…

With warmest greetings… your Sister in Christ, Jaimée

GOD IS IN CONTROL!

By Michaela Penn

On Thursday May 26th, Becky and David Gates asked me to pick up 24 boxes of books (The Great Controversy in Spanish-Short Version) at Altamont, Tennessee, a 6 ½ hours drive (one way). I am not very good for long distance driving, as I usually get sleepy after 1 hour, but it was very important, because these books had to be taken down to Bolivia by Pr. Gates, as on Monday they would announce those books on TV and people would be calling to receive them. I knew, the Lord wanted me to go. So I did.

Dear Friend,

Even though I have written this Devotion years ago it is fitting this year as well, we have a very rainy May again this year in Germany. Much more it is of course fitting any time, how God tries to encourage us and how He shows us, that in all our sorrows He is with us and knows what we are feeling and experiencing. We have a compassionate Father and a caring Redeemer. May these Words always be in our hearts, that He never never will leave us alone…

With prayers for you…

Jaimée

From 21th to 31th March 2007, 15 students and teachers from the Miracle Meadows ( (Miracle Meadows Website) school came to the Orphanage in Rurrenabaque.

For some of them this was not the first time they visited the ministry, as they came as well last year in a similar project. But this year’s one was to help building 3 new classrooms for the children in the Familia Feliz Orphanage campus. Eventually, the classes are being used not just for the intern children, but as well for another community school.

Dear Friend,

It is so precious to know, we have a Father in heaven, who knows of our sorrows, who went through pain Himself, and still does so being at our side in our hardships. Never alone, it doesn’t matter what happens; this is a knowledge, which shall draw us into His arms, and there we find rest… You are His…

Transition!
By John Bartels

Dear Family and Friends,

Our time in Grenada to date has been filled with activity and preparation to broadcast the Good News of Jesus’ soon return to the world and now we are excited to announce that we believe that we have reached the time of TRANSITION from the development stage to the implementation stage of this project. God is good and has really made each detail of the development possible! And we know by faith that He is about to enable us to move forward into the implementation phase. With designs and plans complete for each division of this

project it is time to begin construction, broadcasting and production.

Dear Friend,
As I wrote, this time I send the Lord’s prayer with the details that helped me to see, how much He tries to tell us through that simple prayer. It is a beauty hidden in His words, that touched me… With a prayer for you, have a blessed Sabbath with such a special Father as we have… Jaimée
