The Joseph Bates School is in its initial stages. Headed by Lidia Baez Candelario, former Academic Sub Director as missionary volunteer at the Richard Gates Industrial School in Bolivia, she has endeavored to start an Industrial school in Villa Alta Gracia Dominican Republic, a poor, small rural community outside of Santo Domingo.

Our project is dedicated to work with children in our community that need an education, but don’t have sufficient resources to do so. We want to provide not only the education they need, but also to teach them about the love of God, and train them to be missionaries for Christ. Service opportunities available are Teachers, construction, others.
