Tsushima Volunteer Mission Report – May Update

Dear Family and Friends

It’s been a few weeks since the catastrophic earthquakes hit the western part of Japan where we have been working. Still there are a lot of things to do to help those who lost their homes and their beloved. I and my Adventist friends have been working full time to clean a lot of debris after the earthquake and send relief to the earthquake victims but it seems endless to finish the work for a while. Our current problem is that the number of volunteers has been decreasing every day though we need more volunteers than before.

Every time when we work together with non-Adventist Christians, they ask us what kind of group we are, where we came from, why we are doing this, and so on. Then we tell them that we are Christians who believe in Jesus as our Savior. Most people are not interested in our beliefs but some of them want to stay in contact with us, meet us again, and to know more about what we believe. In this moment, we are very happy to be able to work both for Jesus and people who are suffering!

Please keep praying for our volunteer ministry in Japan to continue our work and to show Jesus to those who do not know him yet.

May God bless you richly!!
